Kangen Ukon – Tumeric and Your Health

by admin on October 25, 2011

What is Kangen Ukon?

Enagic Kangen Ukon is made with 100% organic turmeric harvested in Okinawa, Japan.

A little about Tumeric and its active ingredient: Curcumin

In the U.S., turmeric is best known as a spice. It’s one of the main components of curry powder. In India and other parts of Asia, turmeric is used to treat many health conditions.

While the therapeutic properties of turmeric have been known for centuries, modern science has identified the curcuminoids (the phenolic compounds found in turmeric) and provides a scientific basis for many clinical uses of standardized curcumin.

Turmeric is related to the ginger family. The yellow color is due to the presence of these curcuminoids, the most important being curcumin. All the health benefits of turmeric are due to this active ingredient curcumin.

Extensive research shows curcumin can benefit multiple targets in your body and provides scientific basis for its effectiveness in a wide variety of different body systems.

Okinawan farmers in Yanbaru, renowned for its cornucopia of natural products and immensely rich soil, grow 100% organic ukon (turmeric). Kangen Ukon Sigma is a specialized supplement composed of ukon and 14 additional antioxidants and ingredients including tocotrienol (from rice ears), and pinstripe ginger.

Innovative packaging technology incorporating a soft vegan capsule is used to repel moisture and prevent oxidation. It has a high degree of absorption and even distribution throughout the body. All of the ingredients are washed, sterilized and processed with Kangen Water® –a world first. The turmeric factory has been registered as a food facility by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The production plant of the Kangen Ukon Sigma and Enagic foods became a registered food facility by the U.S. FDA. (Registration number 18161996856)  The high level of safety, quality control, cleanliness, and operation of the turmeric factory is affirmed by the FDA’s registration. The plant ensures overall safety, approval of quality products, and surveillance of the circulation of food and supplies.

Are You A Drinker?

by admin on April 7, 2011

We all know that water is important but I’ve never seen it written down like this before.

75% of Americans are Chronically Dehydrated. (Likely applies to half the world population)

In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.

Even mild dehydration will slow down one’s metabolism as much as 3%.

One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a U of Washington study.

lack of water, is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

Preliminary research indicates that *8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.

A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or the printed page.

Drinking 5 glasses of water daily *(minimum see below) decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45% , plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%. And one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.as much as 1 ounce per pound of body weight per day is best of kangen water

************************************************************************************************

*The best rule for Kangen water consumption is to drink 1/2 to of your body weight in oz. per day. For example, If you weigh 100 lbs, the you should be drinking 50 oz of Kangen water per day. If you have any kind of imbalance in your health at all, you shlould be drinking MORE…definitely!! 3/4 to 1 oz per pound so if you weigh 100lbs you would drink 100 oz per day. “That is where the miracles start to happen” Dr Dave Carpenter ND
